Small things matter

May 15, 2020

Today I was teaching my daughter how to tell time. I told her about the three hands and how the second hand is so active and I made her sound hour hand the laziest.Well, she was so excited. Her mind pondered over the thing like how time is slipping away from our hand and when seen in terms of hours, it appeared boring to her.

The lesson she picked up from this was that, every second counts as it is shaping minutes, hours and days of one’s life. The moment the study got over, this topic wiped out of her mind. Well, even if we -grownups, know all these things hardly do we pay any heed.We spoil the days as if we will live forever .The biggest regret we all have in life is to not explore everything we desired.

Distractions and a desire to get thing instant results are ruining the hard efforts. We want to see instant results. We want to do yoga for a month or 2 months and then desire for a perfect shape.

Well being patience is one of the solutions. Another solution is to understand that small yoga practice everyday is making your muscle strong, small ten minutes mediation is strengthening your emotional and mental being. Let’s all give it time and work on it. Try to trust and enjoy the journey. Every one has to discover the result and the experience of the journey on their own. Look at other’s journey for some references only but try to find your own path.Start your daily small practice now and discover how it will change you for good and forever.

With this, I contribute to my small step of posting to the site.
