Small self improvement to change your life and how to work on them

Without any goal, you can’t set the plan. Without any plan, you won’t do anything. Without doing anything there won’t be any change in your life. Without any change, you will still be in the same place. So, let’s start one at a time. Let’s start with setting goals and planning it, working towards it and changing life.

What is holding all of us back?

We all know about inertia. As per definition “a property of matter by which it continues in its existing state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line, unless that state is changed by an external force.” In simple words, inertia is a tendency to do nothing or to remain unchanged. So, it is present stage inertia of not working towards what is needed is holding us back.

How can we start working on self improvement?

The first step towards self improvement is most important. If it is done, you have higher chances of improving. The first step is to write down what you want. Until, you have a goal or an aim, how will you know what you have to improve. So, think about what is important for you and what you aspire for.

Do you know the 1% rule of self improvement?

Now you have an aim and you decide to work towards it. As we grow, our tons of responsibilities also grow with us. The most precious thing to save especially for a grown-up is time. You have to manage your duties and also work on your goal. You might not find enough time to follow or work on the aim on a daily basis. However, getting better by just 1% consistently can make you improve a lot. Your small gains will add to your remarkable success. So, no matter how busy your schedule is, make time to work on your goal.

Document your progress everyday and learn from it

After having a goal and working on it on a daily basis means 80% of the battle is conquered. . The next step is to keep track of it. Documentation will help you to understand what is going well and what needs to be improved.

Find a mentor who can guide you in the process

Sometimes it is best to have someone’s guidance while working on your self-improvement goal. Mentoring makes a big difference to both person and professional development. Never shy away from asking help from anyone and asking for relevant guidance.

In the end, I would say it takes time, effort and patience to improve or achieve something. So never give up and level up your life every day.
