I never thought that multiple types of Yoga trainings will emerge. The way we have types of yoga, we have various Yoga trainings. One such training is Gravity training which I recently heard about. The training talks about holding a pose for five minutes or three minutes.
Advantages of holding a pose
For me it really requires patience to hold a pose for five minutes. First of all it is boring and with each passing time it becomes difficult. If you are able to achieve it with less resistance then you should give it a try.
From the past few days I am practicing forward bends holding it for 5 minutes. I should admit there is an improvement which I noticed with 3 days. My flexibility has improved and so do other for forward bend poses.
It is always better to try new things and especially if it improves your practice. All I want to say, that daily practice and focus are the keys.
