Try to remember the names of those people who might have disappointed you either by their rude words or by mean actions.
Now try to remember that aspiration of yours, which you gave up due to lack of support from those people.
Yes, words are powerful. Do you really feel that you could have succeeded if they would have supported you or would have never said what they said? So, they disappointed you.
Do you still at this point of time, blame others for your failure? Then I am also going to disappoint you that they didn’t disappoint you, it was you only who disappointed yourself
It’s very easy to blame others if any undesirable thing happens. It is the best way to pass on the blame while protecting yourself and your intentions. After all, nobody wants to take responsibility of failure. We always look for some other person to pass the blame.
Here are my two cents on this topic.
You are solely responsible of your action
Take responsibility of all your actions. It’s not the circumstances or your spouse or your in-laws or your boss that is making you mad. It is your own thinking, your own action. Disappointment is entirely a construction of our own expectations.
Learn from failures and keep moving
Don’t look for excuses when you fail. Learn something from failures and keep working. Try different ways to succeed. More important always believe in your dream that one day you will surely achieve it.
Always have a positive outlook for life
You might have heard this from so many people but trust me having a positive attitude always helps. I know it is easier said than done. We have filled our lives with so many tasks, meetings, schedules and responsibilities that to remain positive through out the day, to smile at every challenge, to ignore negative people are challenging tasks.
I also feel overwhelmed with so many challenges, not meeting the deadline, not being a good mother that I start getting drowned in this swamp of disappointment.
However I really hate seeing myself as a complaining person. I always want to be a strong and cheerful person. That’s why I always try to get out of the situation.
Always block some time for physical activity
I am strong believer of physical activities, sports or any sort of exercise. They not only help you to stay healthy but also make you a cheerful and optimistic person.

I have myself experienced this thing. For my Yoga practice, I always get up early than usual time. It means less sleep than usual. However I feel so energetic through out the day which in turn helps me to be cheerful and have a positive attitude.
It starts with you and ends with you
I believe that moods swings are part of human nature. One can’t be positive all the time. It is natural to be in the grip of the negative emotions. Let it come to you. All I believe is to remind myself that I am a strong person and this too shall will pass. I just have to keep courage and try harder. This simple statement has helped to sail through the many undesirable situations.
In the end,I would like to share with people, a real story. A simple way to say to have faith in yourself.

Your circumstances, case or condition can be different. All that’s matter is to have faith in yourself, to keep trying and knowing that one day you will make it.
Till then Happy Yoga Practising.
